Thornton Engineering is seeking experienced and motivated Welder Job in Australia to join our highly skilled fabrication team based in Corio, Victoria. This role is ideal for trade-qualified welders who take pride in precision workmanship and are keen to work on major infrastructure projects across Australia.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, applicants should have:
- Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade (or equivalent)
- Proven ability to pass a welder qualification test
- Strong experience in GMAW (MIG) welding
- Experience in GTAW (TIG), Flux-core and/or SMAW (Stick) welding (highly regarded)
- Experience working with stainless steel (advantageous)
- Ability to read and interpret Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS)
- Competence in operating fabrication and welding equipment
- A current and valid driver’s licence
- Additional licences such as forklift, dogman (DG) or high-risk work licences (encouraged but not essential)
